We had a fun opportunity this summer to do a half-day design and presentation for a simple home addition in a comfortable residential neighborhood. The homeowner told us what he needed and we drew it. The design was simple, and effective, but dramatically changed the house from a basic-builder home into a real modernist statement on the block.
Today, I found a similar design in our trade magazine – always reassuring to find published examples that are as bold as our ambitions.
