McLaurin Parking –
Our office staff has reserved spaces at the lot at Bloodworth and Hargett streets. Our office on Hargett Street is a five-block walk toward town. The walk is convenient, but long.
Would McLaurin consider installing a bike shelter at this location? A bike shelter could be installed within one parking space, or on the unused grassed area on the lot. A pre-fabricated shelter like this one: http://www.duo-gard.com/products/bike-shelters-and-parking/bike-shelters/spokes could be purchased at modest cost and installed conveniently.
Adding bike parking would benefit my firm specifically, but would also encourage new leasing, and would provide some recognition with the press for sustainable (green) business practices.
Thanks for considering this option! Please contact me directly if I or my firm can help with this project in any way.
